How to Become a Real Estate Appraiser in Maine

In Maine, the Board of Appraiser handles appraisal licensing. Maine is one of the few states with such low minimum time requirement to obtain the necessary experience hours for licensing.  The 2,000 experience hours can be obtained in 12 months. Most states require the hours to be obtained in no less than 18-24 months.
